"Smart Women Know Energy"

Do you enjoy air conditioning on a hot humid day?  Watching a good movie or sporting event on your television?  Being able to use a computer to communicate or conduct business?  All of these activities, and most of life as we currently live it, are made possible through the reliable affordable energy that is brought to our community by CPS Energy.

The Smart Women (and men) who attend this session will learn about the future plans of the utility to keep up with the growing needs in San Antonio.  Participants also will learn what CPS Energy is doing toward the New Economy Initiative, an effort to bring more clean energy to customers while also creating jobs, economic development and educational investment in the community.

Provocateur:  Jelynne LeBlanc-Burley

Jelynne LeBlanc-Burley, CPS Energy Executive Vice President for Energy Delivery and Customer Service, oversees all of the utility's functions that interact with customers day to day, in order to improve processes and streamline customer interactions.  Prior to joining CPS Energy in 2008, Jelynne spent nearly 25 years in various leadership positions with the City of San Antonio.
