Annette began her career working in Prevention Programs where she conceived and directed Project Mothers and School, a program which serves pregnant and parenting teens. Annette also founded the San Antonio affiliate of Girls, Inc. which served over 10,000 girls in our community since its inception in 2004. Annette now heads The Children's Shelter where over 3,000 clients are provided comprehensive emergency shelter, residential treatment care, and foster and adoptive homes for abused, abandoned or neglected children, along with a variety of other services.
