FEATURING

MARISE MCDERMOTT

We invite members to join us at the historical Old San Francisco Steakhouse for our May Transformational Leadership Spotlight featuring Marise McDermott, President and CEO of the Witte Museum.

Marise, was the VP of Strategic Planning for the Witte from 2002 - 2004, and most currently has been credited as the catalyst for the $100 million campus expansion. Marise was challenged to bring the aging museum in to the future.  The expansion was planned in 3 phases, with the first being completed in 2014, phase 2 is currently in development and phase 3 following later.

Marise has overcome many challenges during this labor of love, and has given praise to her staff for their efforts in helping to bring her vision to fruition.

Marise also has many ties to historic preservation, including being the Director of the History Center in Cedar Rapids, Iowa from 1999-2002; the Humanities Center at the Witte Museum from 1989-96; Editor of The Texas Humanist, the magazine for the Texas Committee of the Humanities in the 1980's.

It's no wonder that Marise was  named 2013 Executive Woman of the Year by the San Antonio Greater Chamber of Commerce and 2015 Texas Patriot Award by The Daughters of the Republic of Texas, Alamo Mission Chapter!

Join us for the rest of the story!

Seating is very limited - so register today!

Presentation will start promptly at 8:30am and conclude at 9:45am.
