Join us as we welcome our Transformational Leadership Spotlight speaker, Leo Gomez, being held at the historical Old San Francisco Steakhouse. 

President and Chief Executive Officer, Leo Gomez, is responsible for the executive leadership of Brooks City-Base (BCB) and the Brooks City-Base Foundation. Leo works closely with the Board of Directors and BCB staff to establish long-range strategic plans and policies to facilitate the redevelopment of Brooks City-Base (BCB).

Before joining Brooks City-Base, Leo held the position of Vice President of Public and Government Affairs for Spurs Sports & Entertainment since 1996. He left Spurs Sports & Entertainment for two years to serve as General Manager of Administration with Toyota Manufacturing-Texas before returning to Spurs Sports & Entertainment in 2005. Leo has also served as President of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and Vice President of Governmental Affairs for the Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce.

Leo’s distinguished career began as an intern with the U.S. General Accounting Office in Washington D.C. He also worked with the Research and Planning Division of the Texas Department of Commerce before being named the Assistant Director for the Tomas Rivera Center at Trinity University.

In addition, Leo has two children, son Manuel, a at The University of Texas and daughter April, at Texas Tech University.
