Our provocateur, Retired Col. Lisa Firmin, has been shot at and has learned to shoot back in the board room.  As the highest ranking Latina at the time of her retirement from the United States Air Force, Lisa has always been successful at leading others.  Whether leading small or large organization, in peacetime or in combat, she has left her mark on others and on the bottom line.  She is now parlaying her battle tested leadership skills in her new role as the Associate Provost for Faculty/Student Diversity and Recruitment at the University of Texas at San Antonio, focusing on influencing a new generation and helping transform UTSA to Tier 1 status.
