The San Antonio Women's Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that Jane Macon will be our next POWERhour! Luncheon speaker.
Jane became the first woman City Attorney for a major U.S. city when she served as the City Attorney for the City of San Antonio from 1977 to 1983!
Jane is currently a Partner with Bracewell & Giuliani LLP, an international law firm with lawyers in Texas, New York, Washington D.C., Connecticut, Seattle, Dubai and London serving Fortune 500 companies, major financial institutions, leading private investment funds, governmental entities and individuals concentrated in the energy, technology, and financial services sectors worldwide. Prior to joining Bracewell & Giuliani, she was a partner at Fulbright & Jaworski for 30 years.
Jane currently serves on numerous national Boards including the National Board of After School All Stars Selective Service Appeal Board (appointed by President Clinton in 2000), the Center for Democracy, and the International Women's Forum. Locally she serves on the Boards of City Year San Antonio, the San Antonio Art League Museum, and the Lawyers' Committee for Civil Rights Under Law of Texas - Immigrant and Refugee Rights Project.
