Transpormational Leadership Development Series

Smart Women Series

The SMART WOMEN Series was created by Dr. Yvonne Katz in 2007, mirrored after the famous book by author David Bach, titled “Smart Women Finish Rich: 9 Steps to Achieving Financial Security and Funding Your Dreams.”  

Dr. Katz created this educational series to “empower” women by giving them the opportunity to have discussions with provocateurs that are experts on real life and real business topics that affect women’s lives.

Transformational Leadership Development Series

This six-part series will explore the attributes of strong leaders in corporations and organizations in San Antonio. This educational program utilizes concepts from the leading business experts to help current and aspiring leaders unleash the potential in themselves and others, and cultivate high-performing teams and organizations. The purpose of the Transformational Leadership Development Series (TLD) is to help leaders and future leaders in our community to identify and develop executive-level leadership skills.

Bloomberg Business Program

The San Antonio Women’s Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW), launched the SAWCC Bloomberg Business Program in 2014. 

This program is designed to help women with a business mindset enhance their communication, leadership, and business skills. It consists of a six-month series of meetings that include facilitated coaching exercises, expert speakers from related fields, and discussions based on articles from Bloomberg Businessweek magazine.

POWERhour! Luncheons

POWERhour! Luncheons spotlight San Antonio’s women “builders” – those outstanding women who have helped build the infrastructure of our city in business, government, and civic work. We hold three of these luncheons per year.
