Our mission is to promote the business, economic and leadership development of women.
The SAWCC has been monitoring the COVID-19 situation in our nation, as well as the current concerns in our city. Today, we are taking additional steps as this situation continues to evolve, building from the latest protocols set by Mayor Nirenberg and the CDC. We have the safety, security, and healthy well-being of our members and participants in our various programs at the forefront.
The San Antonio City Council voted to extend Mayor Ron Nirenberg’s Fourth Public Health Emergency Declaration through April 18, 2020. The virus that causes COVID-19 is easily transmitted, especially in group settings, and it is essential that the spread of the virus be slowed to protect the most vulnerable members of the San Antonio community.
The SAWCC will continue to follow the recommended government agencies guidelines; therefore, we are taking the following action in regards to our currently scheduled and upcoming events:
The San Antonio Women’s Chamber of Commerce will be the leading advocate that empowers and connects women in business and our community. We advocate through political channels and business coalitions. We connect through networking and mentoring opportunities. We empower through training opportunities and resource partnerships.
