“Advancing Women in Business and Leadership”
The San Antonio Women’s Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) is proud to present the 2024 Bloomberg Business Program. SAWCC’S
Bloomberg Business Program has completed its 11th year since its inception in 2014.
‘The Bloomberg Business Program serves to provide an avenue for business minded women to increase their communication, leadership and business skills through a 6 month series of meetings which include facilitated coaching exercise, expert speakers in related fields, and an article discussion based on a relevant topic from the Bloomberg Business Week Magazine. Participants attending all sessions can earn 12 continuing education hours.
In addition, there will be opportunities for networking and friendship. A simple lunch will be included in registration.
What to Expect
This six-part series is conducted by doctoral and professional level facilitators discussing timely topics found in the Bloomberg Businessweek magazine, offered at a discount to SAWCC members.
Major business topics will be pursued with the goal of focusing on leadership and personal/professional development, business acumen, strategies and trends, using real life examples from the periodical, as well as issues being faced by participants.
Participants are expected to attend ALL sessions. Sessions will be hosted by Alamo Colleges at 2222 N. Alamo St. San Antonio, Tx 78215 from 11:00 am – to 1: 00 pm; read Bloomberg Business Weekly magazine articles, in addition to any other homework assignments, prior to each session; and, be prepared to discuss during the session.
Participants will also receive first-hand knowledge from expert speakers from the San Antonio business community. Below are the topics and invited Expert Speakers for the planned 2024 sessions:
